Project description

The Climate Energy project, multi-stakeholder approach for climate resilience and energy transition project in Mozambique aims at supporting an inclusive, evidence-based policy dialogue on climate resilience and energy transition. Lessons learned from the water, energy, loss and damage, and waste management/ circular economy sectors feed into the policy dialogue, which in turn influences local solutions, creating a feed-back loop.

Its objective is to support & institutionally strengthen the country into the inclusive transition achievement to a climate-resilient & low-carbon economy (considering vulnerable communities in rural & urban areas).

Mozambican authorities & communities, including women, youth, & other vulnerable groups, will be strengthened to actively engage together in cross-sectoral coordination, specifically focusing on improved climate proofed public services, enabling policies & initiatives for energy transition.
