In
Rwamagana District (Eastern Province), the Tunisian contractor STEG
began last week the stringing of power lines for the Be EARP project.
Be EARP is implemented by BTC, in partnership with the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) of the Rwanda Energy Group (REG) and aims to
provide sufficient, reliable and affordable on-grid electricity services
for households, priority public institutions and businesses. The first
connections are expected to arise in the last quarter of 2017!
