In collaboration with Terre des Hommes Italy, two summer camps were organized for the youth of East Jerusalem. One summer camp took place at Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society in the Old City of Jerusalem, while the other summer camp took place in Athouri neighbourhood with the guidance of the local school.

During these summer camps, the students were able to engage in environmental and recreational themes and had the chance to have field visits to inspiring organizations teaching them the wonders of nature.

Additionally, RiSE project started rehabilitating 8 schools in East Jerusalem. The works include the rehabilitation and upgrading of three kindergarten units and the creation of a new one. The project also aims to increase the number of classrooms, for which a school extension in Sheikh Saad village boy’s school is currently under construction.
