The Support to Skilling Uganda initiative jointly implemented by Enabel and the Ministry of Education addresses youth unemployment by enhancing the quality of skills training through innovative approaches including work-based learning. To date, about 12,000 people including refugees have been skilled. Of these, nearly 7 out 10 find employment within 6 months after completion of training.
